Russell Parry's musical talents did not blossom until he had retired with over thirty
years in the airline industry, where his expertise was in anything but music. Russell often tells anyone that will listen that
he has a lifetime of melodies in his head, all playing at the same time!
In early 2000 when his
path crossed with that of Philip Mealey his melodies started to become a reality. From his first,seventy-one note song [The
Song of Jabez] through the next forty or so compositions,it was Phil's talent that brought his notes to the musical staffs.
Russell is a member of ASCAP and in 2006 was named a winner of his third ASCAPLUS award granted to contuinue his
music as a new and promising composer.
